Five militants of the Neo Jmbie ‘ Wolf Pack ‘ group have been detained in the capital’s Bhatara police station area. They are all students, says citizen’s chief Monirul Islam. On Friday (09 August), the head of the city, Monirul Islam, was briefed on the news conference held by the Media center of the dmpp. The CTTC says that five of the detained are members of the “Wolf Pack” group. Their target was to attack the police at a convenient time. For that purpose, they also collected an “exclusive device” or an ID device. After prolonged surveillance, the militants ‘ involvement was confirmed and they were detained.
The arrested were Mohammad Shibli Azad alias Shadi, Shah M Asadullah Murtaza Kabir alias Abbil, Masrik Ahmed, Md. Ashraful al Amene aka Tarek and S M Tasmeen Rifat.
