Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has returned to the country after her UK visit. On Thursday (8 August) at 11 am, the plane carrying the Bangladesh Airlines VVIP flight landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
At the airport, the Prime Minister welcomed the senior leaders of the cabinet members, advisors and Awami League. Earlier on Wednesday (7th August), London time, the flight was leaving London’s Heathrow International Airport for 55 minutes. Sheikh Hasina last went to London on July 19. During his stay there he joined the Bangladesh National Conference on 20 July.
The Commonwealth Secretary in London, Petrasia Scotland Cucy and Lord Ahmed of Wimbledon, met with the PM separately.
On July 22, a successful surgical surgery was performed on the left eye of the prime minister at a hospital in London.
